Integer Elevator

Recently, I wrote a mini lesson on integers that had videos and links to other resources for explaining how and why we use integers.

The elevator concept to teach integers is so helpful, I decided to make a game.  It's called The Integer Elevator.  It took a lot of planning and thought to get the game just right.  The end result is a fun and engaging way to practice solving addition and subtraction problems using an elevator game board.  There's even those pesky double negatives.  Students will "ride" up and down on the elevator and hope they don't get stuck on the roof.  The object of the game is to see how many times you can land on ground level.

This game includes:

  • Integer Elevator Game Board
  • Playing Cards
  • Detailed Instructions

You can get a copy of your very own from my blog shop for just $2.00.  It will download right to your inbox.  Couldn't get simpler than that!  I hope you enjoy it!
