Hey there!!  Thank for stopping by The Tutor House today.  I am going to assume you are a tutor on a mission. You came here today to figure out this whole business thing or where to even start!

The education climate is changing rapidly.  It saddens me to hear newly graduated education students can not find a full time teaching job. I cringe at the salary teachers are paid!   I frown a little when I hear about a seasoned teacher retiring because the legislation classroom has changed into a demanding monster.  Where do they turn?  Tutoring becomes a natural path for many, but it takes time and patience to run your own tutor business.  How can I help you today?

This is my one guiding principle here at The Tutor House:

I want to provide hope to tutors 

by providing timely advice 

and creative teaching ideas.

I began this blog/website because there was no place that I could find to connect with other tutors.  I wanted to brainstorm with others or have some one hear me out when I was frustrated.  You'll find support from me and other tutors over at The Tutor House Facebook Fan Page.  This is a bustling community of tutors!  I hope you'll join us and let your tutor voice be heard.
