I like giving my students a little treat when a holiday rolls around. But Valentines can be tricky because if you tutor middle school students like I do, you don't want it to be lovey or anything like that. Go with funny. Family Fun's Spoonful has some fantastic ideas for Valentines gifts too.
Okay, so here are some corny things you could attach to candy or other things:
"You're no Dum-Dum" (with a Dum-Dum sucker)
"You're a Smartie pants!" (with Smarties)
"I will be here for you Now and Later" (with Now and Later candy)
"You've got just the "write" personality (with a pencil)
