As you may have noticed, Facebook seems to be changing the game again! At one time, I would post something and at least half...HALF of you would see it. As usual, Facebook is tinkering with things again and now only 1% of you see them. I made the above image just in November and as you will see when you do the following directions below, that the image is different from what you actually see! Proof that Facebook is changing the game. What is going on?
Facebook is a free social media platform, but it requires an army to staff to keep it up and running. They need to earn money just like all businesses do. By making visibility more difficult, this encourages businesses to pay to promote a post to show up in your newsfeed.
There is a work around however! I personally like to keep my posts on Facebook to a minimum. I usually only post 3 times a day. This means there is a very good chance that you are missing fun or important announcements about events or freebies that are happening here on the blog. The steps to get all notifications from me are simple.
1. Head over to The Tutor House Facebook Fan Page.
2. Hover over the LIKE button.
3. You'll see a drop down menu show up. Simply click on "Get Notifications".
Now you'll get all the updates from me, which really isn't much...just 3 a day! I promise not to overwhelm you with posts, but provide helpful links. Thanks for following and interacting with me. It is the highlight of my day!
