This weeks topic is Linear Equations. I chose this one because starting this week, my Algebra student is coming back and it's time to get prepared and geared up!
My first freebie choice come from Lindsey Perro. She made a color graphing linear equations worksheet that even includes an anwer key. I like that it has just enough problems to do with a student during a tutoring session. Thanks Lindsey!
Robert Duncan came up with Super Linear Equations. It has a Super Brothers theme and is super easy to do with your students. The object of the worksheet is to find a line on the graph that leads from a cannon to Bowser. Then it gets a little more difficult, he throws in Luigi and Mario, The student then has to find a line that doesn't hit Lugi and Mario-only Bowser. So much fun! Thanks Robert.
Math and Cheese came up with a really interesting partner game called Solving Equations Partner Play. Each player solves equations in their column. The equations have the same solution set. As partners work, they compare their answers to see if they got the equation right.
