What an honor today to interview Angela Culley of Math-Ninja.com. She graciously and patiently worked with me as we figured out Google Hangouts together. Technology is not perfect...hence the poor video of me-my apologies for that! However, you can clearly see Angela and hear us discuss her online tutor business.
I really enjoyed chatting with Angela today and I hope you'll enjoy listening in as we talk about how she got started, what her typical tutor session looks like, where she has marketed, and a little bit about using Google Helpouts.
I feel smarter after speaking with her and I am sure you will too! Thanks Angela for chatting with me, I always enjoy getting to speak with other tutors just like you.
Thanks for posting, super information. I learned so much from Angela already on Facebook. I can't wait to check out her blog too!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kaci! Glad I could help!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the video!! I had NEVER heard of Helpouts and am glad to hear of them. My 18-year old son wants to help in my tutoring business, but I need a way to help him gain tutoring experience before turning him loose on my clients. We are going to work on Helpouts! What a handy medium.
ReplyDeleteSo glad that we helped you find a new way to tutor students.
